In the next post of Not Evenly Distributed blog project, commissioning editor Robert Maharajh discusses the emergence of digital technologies as the next industrial revolution and the effect they have on jobs in the developing world. In the blog post, Maharajh questions the economic benefits of these digital technologies and why they don’t feed through to the majority of people, in consideration to the 4.3 billion who still lack access.
