Acknowledgement as a Benefactor recognises significant support to the Biennale of Sydney and inclusion at this level of recognition offers a more intimate and personal association with the Biennale of Sydney.

The Benefactors form a personal network with strong links to our international and Australian government, corporate and cultural partners. Their enthusiasm for and commitment to the Biennale of Sydney enhances the ongoing interest and support of these groups for the Biennale of Sydney. The Benefactors come together at previews of the 2004 exhibition, as well as to the official opening and party and at private functions organised by the Benefactors.

The Biennale of Sydney acknowledges the support of its Benefactors in its publications and at the exhibition venues keeps them informed with regular updates and news about the Biennale of Sydney.

Donations of $5,000 or more are acknowledged at the level of Benefactor and go directly towards realising the artistic content of the 2004 exhibition, publications and associated programs.

The Ambassador level of Benefactors recognises continued and substantial support for the Biennale of Sydney, including contribution at Benefactor level over at least two Biennales and substantial service through Board or Committee membership or service in support of the Biennale's fundraising.
