Recently, Artistic Director of the 17th Biennale of Sydney, David Elliott, joined a panel of art experts and professionals to select the winner of the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2009 in Hong Kong. The panel also included Xu Bing, Chinese artist, Fumio Nanjo, Director of the Mori Art Museum, Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture, Ministry of Culture, Thailand and Uli Sigg, Swiss collector.
