Stories from our Supporters shares the enthusiasm, dedication and memorable Biennale experiences of our supporters.

The first of three stories, this video features Kerr Neilson and Paris Neilson, Directors of The Neilson Foundation, Principal Patrons of the 21st Biennale of Sydney. The Neilson Foundation was established in 2007 to support both the arts and charities that work towards social cohesion; improving accessibility to the arts with the aim of enriching the cultural landscape of Sydney and Australia, and assisting organisations which support individuals facing extreme disadvantage.  We thank them for their vision and generosity.

The Biennale raise over 60 percent of our budget through philanthropy, partnerships and international cultural funding. This ensures your exhibition remains free for all to enjoy. The participation of exceptional Australian and international contemporary artists, the commissioning of ambitious new works, and the creation of engagement and learning opportunities for thousands of people through our public program is also made possible because of this support.
