We are pleased to announce Melissa Ratliff as our Curator and Manager of Public Programs and Education. A member of the Biennale of Sydney’s team during its 16th and 17th editions, Melissa re-joins the Biennale after a five year absence, during which time she contributed to such exhibitions as dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel, Germany (2012) and Manifesta 10 in St. Petersburg, Russia (2014).

On returning to the Biennale, Melissa said: ‘I’m thrilled to be back alongside not only the amazing team of the 20th Biennale, but also with friends and colleagues from Sydney and further afield, thinking and acting together in the lead up to and throughout next year’s edition.’

Melissa is an alumna of Sydney’s College of Fine Art (UNSW), graduating in art history and theory and has written and edited for various publications.

We’re very pleased to be welcoming Melissa back to Sydney and to the 20th Biennale team.
