If you’re a creature of the night, #19BOS has a variety of options, whether you’re in the mood to explore, observe, or socialise.

MCA: EXTENDED OPENING HOURS

From Thursday–Sunday until 8 June, the MCA is extending its opening hours from 10 am–9 pm, so you have plenty of time to check out #19BOS on levels 1 and 3.

AGNSW: ARTAFTERHOURS AND SYDNEY STUDENTS SPEAK

On Wednesday, 4 June, you can see #19BOS during the AGNSW’s artafterhours until 10 pm – and don’t miss the last Sydney Students Speak talk about Yhonnie Scarce’s Weak in colour but strong in blood (2013–14).

THE CITY OF FORKING PATHS

The City of Forking Paths (2014) is available from 5–9.30 pm on Mondays–Saturdays throughout the duration of #19BOS.

If you’re looking to avoid the crowds around Circular Quay during Vivid Sydney, we’d suggest starting the artwork before 6.30 pm. iPods are available for loan from 5 pm, Monday–Saturday, but will be unavailable from 6–9 June, due to expected congestion for the Vivid Sydney closing weekend.

ARTBAR: CURATED BY #19BOS ARTIST ROSS MANNING

On Friday, 30 May from 7–11 pm, #19BOS artist Ross Manning will transform the MCA into a pulsating piece of performance art as the guest curator of this month’s ARTBAR. Pre-sales are sold out, but tickets are available at the door. $25; subject to capacity.
