Last night, the 18th Biennale of Sydney (2012) was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Cultural, Arts or Music Event’ at the Australian Event Awards. Taking time out from #19BOS preparations, it’s an honour to be recognised for all the hard work that went into last year’s Biennale! Our second win (we were announced ‘Best Event in Australia’ for #17BOS in 2010), the Awards celebrate the amazing events held all around the country in 2012–13, with the winners chosen by an expert industry panel.

We were chuffed just to be nominated alongside such worthy contenders including Byron Bay Bluesfest, TEDxSydney 2013 and Vivid Sydney 2013.

Congratulations to all the other winners too – check out the full list of winners here.
