Cai Guo-Qiang - Still Life Performance
An excerpt of Cai Guo-Qiang's Still Life Performance from the Art Gallery of New South Wales can still be seen here via QuickTime.

Still Life Performance continued for two hours over eight days. The performance included a live horse, a naked model and four male and female artists of Chinese and European backgrounds, including Cai himself. Like a living tableau of a traditional artist's studio, painters worked on easels in the gallery recording the horse and rider.

Cai Guo-Qiang project for the Biennale of Sydney 2000 was sponsored by Gene and Brian Sherman

Yoko Ono - Lecture
Yoko Ono's 'Lecture' can still be seen here. Recorded live from the Sydney Opera House exclusively via QuickTime 4.

A unique and intimate performance Yoko Ono's Lecture was a one night only show developed with site specific reference to Australia and the Sydney Opera House. A major international artist since the 1950s, Ono is a famed conceptual artist who's work is quietly confrontational and poignant. Ono's performances vary from event to event and the subject of the Lecture was not divulged until the night. Previous performances have included such events as inviting audience members to come on stage and cut off pieces of her clothing.

The live performance at the Sydney Opera House sold out but you can still view this video stream of the Lecture.
